Description
Barbara Swetina, born in Vienna, is an inspired and inspiring musician and teacher, who lived in the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland for more than 30 years. There she started the 'Taizé singing', an ecumenical singing tradition, building up a song and dance culture for peace through music in the community over many years. Barbara uses Dances of Universal Peace and sacred songs from around the world and is dedicated to create an atmosphere of safety, love and connection to Divine Essence. She plays 7 different instruments, has a wide repertoire of songs and dances, creates her own music, has published CD’s and songbooks and has been invited to teach and train people worldwide.
